House Of Grime

And few other musicalings

Maxsta. Double S. One Clash. One Winner.

Even the slightly more non-grime following fans will know about Lord Of The Mics. So really, there’s no introduction needed. When I interviewed East London MC Maxsta last week he revealed that he would be taking part in the proceedings, the speculation on just who he would be clashing started.

Youf & Nayta were amongst those suggested, but thanks to this GSI Television interview, it’s confirmed, Maxsta Vs Double S is on. “Cause I’m doing my thing, youths wanna send for me, but I can still show them what abortion is.” – Double S.

“Rise Of The Under Dog You Pussies !!!- Maxsta.

Thats what both had to say earlier. Persoanlly……my money’s on Maxsta. But it’s not my choice, who do you think will win ?

Co-Incidently, here’s a westwood freestyle they’re both on

3…2…1…………GO !

I havn’t listened to the Logan Sama show on Kiss FM for a while now, I find I just don’t have the time to stay awake on Monday’s like that. But, it seems last night should’ve been the night I locked in.

And that’s possibly down to this one song alone

Wiley & Shifty Vs Devlin & Ghetts – 1 2 3

The tune is well and truly nuts !! WIley’s on the production, each MC does ALOT.COM.

I don’t listen to many MC’s from outside of London (it’s not a bias thing I just don’t have time) but of those I do Shifty is defiantly one of the better ones. Many have stuck with the opinion that Devlin has fallen off as of late, but after this and London City, it’s fair to say he’s pushing his Dagenham shoulders back into the game. Ghetts is doing alot lately, watch out for his next mix tape “Calm Before The Storm” dropping before the debut album “Rebel With A Cause”. But the best MC on this track has to be Wiley. His flow is mental !! Look out for the next Wiley album “The Illusive” dropping some time in September and also the next single “She Likes To”:

BIG OR WHAT ?!?!

BIG OR WHAT ?!?!

But for now people, enjoy the song, it’s a banger. Peace.

Blacks – 1.5

Big up South London MC Blacks who evidently has been putting in work with his latest project “1.5″. The promo is out to bulid hype for his forthcoming CD “Sick Individual” and it features some of House Of Grime’s own affilates Ardest Barrers and Germz. Make sure you listen to the Logan Sama set at the end featuring himself with P Money and Little Dee. Also skip to “Is He Real” and “Slump Man” (over Nocturnals – Don’t Phone Me). Peace.

Ghetts Says What He Feels

So Ghetts finished off his performance at Touch:Me Nottingham and was interviewed backstage. Here’s what he thought on the big 3 albums out at the moment. To be hinest, he pretty much echo’s my sentiments:

Skepta – In The Country (Wiley Diss)(SB.TV)

We’re still in what could be considered as one of Grime’s biggest months ever, where Skepta and Wiley both released albums to big impact. In one of the songs from Wiley’s Race Against Time called “Zip It Up (Feat. Giggs & Trigga), Wiley proclaimed “I’m a king when I roll through anywhere / your just a king when you roll through Barnet”. Skepta took exceptional offence to such comments seeing as Barnet is the place where he lives and grabbed top camera man SB to film his reply, here it is: Skepta – In The Country
