To be completely honest Im bored of don’t phone me now. It has been played by every DJ every week since it 1st emerged and it no longer brings any form of excitement to me. The Go On Then dub is different however. I still find my self vibing to it…I can’t wait to get my hands on the instrumental when it’s released on Vynl. Kicked out the game (Wiley) also another boring one with the typical sounding production from Skeamz. The Newham Generals songs are sounding better by the week and Head Get mangled (Sampling Cell 22 I THINK), Bell dem slags and Violence are making me more and more excited about the album. The brand new Skepta tune sounded more than alot. I think it’s gonna be released as a single, not sure whether it’s on the album though. One of my favorite tunes at the moment and on road is the SAY SOMETHING I DONT LIKE Vocal from P Money, Littles and Blacks. This is south’s year for sure. Just watch. Closely. Trim looks like he’s putting in the work with the latest installment of Soulfood (Vol 4). I’ve seen the covers, the tracklisting looks amazing. Very lengthy. Shotta Music Vol 1 was one of the best CD’s to come out last year and by the sounds of NEW BREED MACHINA volume 2 is gonna be even better. The Roll Girl Remix (Despa, Tinie Tempah, Nocturnal) is number 1 on my shopping list. The song is a lot better than Tinchy’s contribution to the charts but I don’t reckon it will get as far. Why? No one will get off there fat asses to buy it. It wouldnt be a 2009 edition of Logan Sama if next hype wasn’t played. He always mixes in another tune with it and this week the mix was Next Hype vs Nocturnal’s “Vet”. It was large !! Big Rem was and will always remain one of my favorite artists. Round we go sounded like a really good production and Rem handled it well. I do miss Essentials a lot. The energy, the vibes..the whole essence. Jendor’s wolf noises, K Dot’s vocals & Rem’s presence made them a crew to be reckoned with. Bossman on the decks was more than a lot and I’m trying to find that legendary set where Logan was on the decks !! That was a madness. It’s a real shame. But still time moves on. This style that Rem proclaims he uses, this “afro-grime” displays an interesting concept. He recently got a single deal in Nigeria, which is IS defiantly the definition of pushing th sound forward. I liked the For This Town over Davinche’s Ryder beat. I hope that beat gets released. thats ME !!
Heres a new one From Og’z Little Dee, Blacks and P Money. Looking forward to hear what they all do this year. It’s called Say Something I Dont Like and it’s a radio rip so don’t try and download it.
Talking of Little Dee, here’s one of his latest tunes called “Deep Blue Sea”. I like this one, shows the doubters that he’s actually got talent. Big up Most wanted on the production.
Newish stuff that I could get on audio vid.
Ghetto & Brutal – Go On Den (Prod By Maniac) (RADIO RIP)
Im Loving the Headshot production from Maniac. Nice to hear a freestyle from Ghetts, his album is also finished so look out for that soon and don’t forget Sing For Me is released on March 3rd so go and get that. Also shoutout to one of the scene’s most under-rated Mc’s Brutal, will be interesting to see what he does this year.
Thoughtzz, A.S.B, Vertex & Calibar – Change Hustle (Prod By ?)
Production is nice, Vertex the only MC out of that selection I’m really feeling.
OG’s – She’s Crazy (Prod By ?) (RADIO RIP)
Nice to hear stuff from Blacks, was feeling this tune a lot. Chorus is exciting, makes you wanna jump up and dance. But don’t mistake it for a chart topping attempt. P Money also on this one, this has got to be his year with the album coming late this year, I think it’s gonna be called P Money Vs Paris or Dualality. Something long them lines. Im sure Little Dee was supposed to be on this tune according to cameo, must’ve cut that bit off :(.
Ruff Squad – Superman (Prod. By Rapid) (LOW QUALITY)
Nope. Doesn’t do it for me. Apparently Fuda Guy is one to watch for 2009. I think not. Rapid’s singing wern’t bad though.
Big up Desperado who is starting 2009 with a bang. Ghryhme Bangers is a 17 track CD hosted by Dj Limelight feuturing support from the likes off Messy, P Money, Little Dee, Tinie Tempah and many more. I told you before, this will be South London’s year for real.
If you wanna pre-order or find out more details then click on the cover above. I would get it right now but I’m broke at the moment. Keep your eyes peeled I’ll add links for other places to buy soon. Peace.
Big up everyone involved;
DJ’s : Vectra/JJ/Furious

Bless Your Selves, Frank.
I’m getting increasingly annoyed with all these moronic ignoramus’ that keep making they’re little tracks to adress they’re nonsense postcode business, reguarding East London and North london. People like Snoopy for example, you know on that tune where he sent for north and they were all too frightened to risk a reply. I’ve now seen this on Grime Forum:
“”2008: the year north took over east
so can we all agree that north is the new mecca of grime?
- skepta been tearing up tracks and making good mainstream stuff at the saem time
- marvel are doin a lot ,LOL at that bum snoopy tryna send
- dizzee and kano are washed up nobodies
- cold blooded are bubbling under the surface
- wretch dropped a classic
- jme had a big album- yeah an actual album, not some cheap mixtape
- frisco is the next king of grime
- black the ripper one of the most talented cats in the scene
- chipmunk is the prince of grime
- random impulse dropped a classic mixtape and is ready to blow
you man only have wiley now, oh and tinchy stryder”"
Whoever this fucking moron is he needs to realize that the users of grime forum should not have to be graced with this bullshit for starters. Anyway my main point here is, everyone is going on about east vs north, but SOUTH LONDON is clearly making movements these days. now let me take the bullshit from above and disect it. Firstly, Yes, Skepta has been making some exceptional music, but so has Dot Rotten. Then, Marvell has been doing far from a lot, people say better late than never, but in marvell’s (Double S, Vertex & Shocka) case, better never than late. A mixtape full of pathetic tunes and abyish noises. If you wanna see a good group mixtape, check OG Season Vol 1 (OG’z). Dizzee and Kano are washed up nobodies?? In all actual reality, we should open up your wallet and take a look. Then check Dillans and Kane’s. Next you said Wrecth dropped a classic. In hip-hop?? Nope. In grime?? Nope. At all??? NOPE. If you wanna see a classic check out The Blackout (Blacks). JME had a big album?? Rudeboy please, P Money Is Power was a mixtape and it parred any JME projects. Ever. Black The Ripper is indeed talented, but not as much as someone like Desperado pheraps. Frisco is the next king of grime i hear you say. Please, if your looking for Wileys next to kin, Little Dee or in actual reality (even though he’s from east) Ghetto is the obvious candidate. Chipmunk is overley talented, it is agreed, but if your looking for a price, then you should be looking at me. LOL. Wait until i’m out. Random Impulse is pathetic, too see a good mixtape have a butchers at Don’t Let The Name Trick You (Little Dee).
Just my perspective, south never gets a fucking look in!!! Big up Nu Brand as well.
This tune looks to be very, very big. DVA has taken Wiley and Mark Ronsons tune cash in my pocket and remixed it with Frisco and P money. Woah!!! Ripped from 1xtra..
